We are now working on a new colouring book for children with autism and related disabilities in Essex! Watch this space for more news!
We are delighted to report that the Big Lottery Fund have awarded a small grant to Autism and Nature to produce our second county heritage guide, for parents, carers and teachers of children with autism in Kent. The guide should be published in Autumn 2018.
This is the first in a brand new series of Autism and Nature guides! written to help parents, carers and teachers to engage children with autism and related disabilities with their local heritage. It features fantastic rural heritage museums, castles and exciting archaeological sites!
Printed copies (free of charge) are being distributed by Activities Unlimited. The book is also available to download on our publications page. The publication of this book was generously sponsored by the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB Amenity and Accessibility Fund; Nineveh Charitable Trust; Baily Thomas Charitable Fund; and four funds administered by Suffolk Community Foundation, including Skinner’s Family Fund, Kingsfleet Community Fund and the Catalyst Fund.
